We had Encore play at our wedding and I couldn't recommend them more! They had the dance floor packed all night and Wilson Stevens was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding.
At one point during the reception, I was very eager to get the dance floor going and knew we still needed to have the MOH and BM speeches. The band lead came out from his break to help to introduce them so that we could get the party started as soon as their break was done (they only take two, short breaks the entire night). Encore performed at our wedding on June 30th. They played alongside a Greek band at the Four Seasons. They were absolutely AMAZING! Encore was full of energy, had the entire room on the dance floor, was on the dance floor interacting with guests and ensured that everyone had a fabulous time! They were even bopping along to the Greek music when the DJ was playing and a few of them even joined guests on the dance floor to partake in some Greek dancing. They were absolutely fabulous and made our wedding an absolutely amazing party! I fully recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat. We loved them as did our guests. To be honest, I never saw Encore perform live before our wedding. Wilson Stevens was recommended so I decided to wing it. They blew my expectations out of the water. They had our 170 person wedding singing, dancing, sweating, twisting and shouting all night long. Everyone is still talking about them. I can’t say enough about this group! Thank you Encore!
Encore truly set the tone for the celebration throughout the afternoon and evening. I can’t say enough about Encore’s performance and value — the band’s versatility provided music in three different spaces we used at the wedding venue. The keyboardist’s jazz added elegance to the cocktail hour in the gardens, while the instrumental trio who came out to the Carriage House offered delightful background music during dinner. But the party really kicked off when the full band came together under the tent and filled the dance floor until the last call. All night long, guests were beaming and singing Encore’s praises — they especially were blown away when the vocalists joined everyone on the dance floor!
I will be sending an email in the future about the experience, but in summary, Encore was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. They were amazing!

7) Use artist again?: Yes. Very convenient talking with Encore and their client liaison, Katlin through emails and on the phone. She answered all of my questions in a prompt manner and discussed all the details of our first dance, groom/mother dance, and bride/father dance songs. She was very organized. She listened to all our requests and executed them perfectly during the reception!
I can never have enough words to describe how special Encore made our wedding. It was an unforgettable night!
The cocktail hour music with sax/piano duet was perfect. The music during dinner was also wonderful with great song selections, a lot of which were our favorites. But when the dance floor opened up and Encore got down to business, that’s when the night really got fun! They absolutely killed it! Never a dull moment as they had the dance floor packed all night with our guests singing, dancing, and jumping up and down all night. I love how they came off the stage to sing and dance with our guests on the dance floor! Extremely energetic and fun group of vocals! They even let my best man sing the final song on stage with them!
So many of my guests were asking me where I found them and telling me that it was the most fun they had dancing at a wedding! Hands down best band ever. We were so lucky to have booked them! Can’t wait to refer them to other weddings!

We got married last month at Linden Place in Rhode Island and booked ENCORE for our wedding. Let me just say, THEY ROCKED IT! Best wedding band hands down. We were absolutely thrilled with their performance. Our guests are STILL talking about how amazing they were. Talk aboutenergy…this band is electric. They played everything from motown to pop and even country (per our request). They were constantly out on our dance floor, rocking it, dancing with us, letting us take the mic. I’ve been to my fair share of weddings and I’ve never seen a wedding band like this. Their lead singer has such a soulful voice — we were blown away at everything she sang. We wanted our guests (young and old) to party and that’s exactly what they did. We had guests who literally didn’t step off the dance floor because the band was so good. We would recommend Encore over and over again.
There was not one complaint we had. Encore was amazing! Their song selection was perfect, they learned the song we requested and they brought so much fun energy! Literally the best wedding band we’ve ever heard!

We booked Encore through Wilson Stevens for our wedding this past weekend at the Ritz. Before we get to Encore (who KILLED it) I want to write a bit about Wilson Stevens. We worked with Justin and from the time of booking through the wedding itself we couldn’t have been more impressed. Justin was always attentive to our emails and ensured any questions we had were answered in a timely fashion. He was so easy to work with and we couldn’t have been more appreciative.
Encore – may be the best band in the city. We have been to numerous weddings and seen many of the Wilson Stevens bands and although they are all great, there is something special about Encore. Their passion and energy MADE our wedding. They were so engaging throughout the whole wedding and really made a point of ensuring they were on the dance floor with our guests for most of the night. We had so many people complimenting the band during the night and post wedding. We had a unique first dance song that we requested to be performed instrumental and not only did the band learn the song, they played it for us before our guests came in to ensure it was perfect.
Encore will always have a special place in our hearts and we are so grateful for the work they did during our wedding.

7) Use artist again?: Yes. Adam and Katlin were just so friendly and accommodating and I was so confident before the event in them and was not at all let down. Not only was the band extraordinarily talented but they were all very friendly!
I have no words for how great they were. We got tons of compliments and we’ve had a lot of weddings in my family recently and I think ours may have taken the cake thanks in large part to Encore! Thank you!!!
Performance Review:
1) Quality of Music: Excellent. Seriously — all of our guests were on the dance floor almost the entire night. One of our aunts, at the band’s prompting, stood up to dance (and loved it!) for the first time in 30 years! The band members have beautiful voices — and perform incredibly well together.
2) Choice of Music: Excellent. We gave the band a schedule and told them what music we didn’t like — then handed it over to them. The music choice was fantastic — and kept people moving all night. They even customized a song for my wife at the end of the evening as a surprise!
3) Grooming and Attire: Excellent. They all looked very professional — well groomed.
4) Emceeing: Excellent. From serenading my 90 year old great aunt to swinging my cousin around the floor — emceeing all night was fantastic.
5) Break Schedule: Excellent. Exactly as we discussed!
6) Use Wilson Stevens again? Yes. Tim was incredibly responsive as were all other WS staff.
7) Use artist again?: Yes. Per our request, the band learned a new song for us — Encore was wonderful in all respects.

After a few weeks on honeymoon and a few more trying to settle back into the swing of things at work, we finally had a few minutes to sit down and reach out to you about your performance at our wedding. Simply put, you guys were absolutely wonderful to work with, and you sounded amazing as musicians and vocalists.
As you probably know, the wedding day for a bride and groom is a bit hectic, to say the least… but while we were bouncing from table to table to photos to conversations with family and friends, we were so happy with the level of the comfort you all had on stage. Without question, your ability to read a crowd and react to keep pace with the nature of the wedding was impressive. It was absolutely our intention to keep people in the tent and dance, but as folks spilled out to take pictures by the water or play the lawn games after dinner service, you shifted to keep the music appropriate for the event; but then as the sun set, the dance party truly began and you knocked it out of the park.
One particular thing that Shannon and I noticed was how well you performed John Legend’s “All of Me”; a song that was rather significant to us leading up to the wedding, we heard it from the middle of the lawn and loved to just stand there and take it in. Another complete surprise to us was how you finished the evening with Sweet Caroline… as the huge Red Sox fans that we are, this couldn’t have been a better way to end the night (in fact, it may be a large contributor to us having no voice for the two days that followed our wedding, oh well!). Also, thank you again for making the time to learn History in the Making and Take me Home Tonight, and for crafting the playful introduction to the mother-son dance with Blurred Lines – that was executed absolutely perfect!
What else can we say? We are so happy with our decision to book Encore for our wedding and love the memories you helped us build. We wish you continued success as a band and hopefully, as our friends and family get married, we will see you once as again!
